UNIVERSITY VASCULAR ASSOCIATES

University Vascular Associates (UVA) was founded in 2006 by Dr. Samuel Ahn. Dr. Ahn was a professor of surgery at the UCLA Medical School for 20 years before leaving to found UVA in nearby Westwod.

Dr. Rhoda Leichter joined the UVA team in early 2007.

UVA's mission is to become a premier, patient-friendly outpatient vascular surgery center offering treatments for a variety of vascular conditions.

At UVA, we treat patients with:

Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA)
Ulcerations and gangrene of the lower extremities
