COVID-19 Coronavirus Notice
To protect our patients, staff, and our community from exposure to the COVID-19 coronavirus, University Vascular Associates is limiting in-person consultations and treatments to urgent cases only until further notice.
During this period, we strongly encourage our patients to use telemedicine to consult with our physicians for non-life threatening or non-urgent cases. Patients can schedule a telehealth appointment to do a video consultation with our physicians from their homes using their smart phones or computers. Click here to learn how.
All visitors to our offices will be screened for the COVID-19 coronavirus disease and suspected cases will be asked to take appropriate quarantine measures and contact their primary care physicians while we reschedule their appointments. If you have, or think you might have been exposed to the virus, please reschedule your appointment and contact your primary care physician for guidance.
For more information, visit the CDC website.
University Vascular Associates (UVA) is one of the largest vascular surgery practices in Southern California. Our physicians cover all areas of vascular surgery. Many of them came from the teaching faculties of top medical schools in the US and some have continued to hold university faculty positions and take part in research and teaching. Our physicians are the experts when it comes to vascular disease.
University Vascular Associates has offices conveniently located over the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area where our physicians can perform clinical evaluations and diagnostic ultrasound tests. Most treatments when required are performed on an outpatient basis using minimally invasive techniques in our top-of-the-art endovascular labs in our offices (watch video). Our physicians also perform surgeries in hospitals when a hospital setting is required.
We also offer telehealth appointments as an option for patients who do not need an in-person consultation with the physician and want to do a video call instead.
